The Priest..

We are so lucky and blessed because we got the most sought - after priest in Naga to marry us on October 20th! :)

Meet Rev. Fr. Rex Luis L. Hidalgo. :)

Our Wedding Rings :)

Am I excited or am I excited?! LOL These are our rings. Yes they are simple but just exactly the way we wanted it to be. :)

Mine: Yellow Gold with five tiny diamonds. His: Two tone with no stones.

with my e-ring :)

Coins..

I try my best to get away from the traditional Filipino wedding. When we ordered from Princessweds, sis Che offered a package which includes the coins. I declined the offer and decided to use the coins that I collected from my previous travels. I find it unique, fun and full of memories! :)

These are coins from the US, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Nicaragua, and many parts of South America

Display your Prenup Photos!

Inspired by other weddings.. this is our take! :)

Something for the Groomsmen and the Bridesmaids..

Babe and I decided to provide the neckties and accessories to achieve the so-called "matchy matchy" look. :)

Coffee Table Book

As you can see I haven't been updating my blog for quite sometime now. These posts are long overdue but  I still opt to post it anyway (for documentation purposes). So after almost two months of waiting since our engagement session, Peppermint Media Co. finally delivered our coffee table book together with our edited and raw shots. (last May 9th). We love it! :)

DIY 1 - Get Away Car - CANS

I always thought that get away cars with "Just Married" signs and cans are cute so we are going to incorporate it in our wedding! :)

We had to collect cans, buy paint and the works.

Babe and I painted the cans in white

Tadaaaa!

Babe had to do the rest. You see the can at the bottom was painted by yours truly and it looks ugly. LOL
We just need to attach the ribbons (prolly this weekend) :)

Will update you on the "JUST MARRIED" sign! xx

Wedding Rings Engraved

We had our wedding rings engraved immediately after we bought it. FI and I wanted it to be non-traditional so instead of putting each other's names, we opted to engrave it with, "Legally Mine 10.20.12".

What do you think? Are your wedding rings engraved as well? Any more unique ideas you have there? x

We got our RINGS! ♥

Last June 3rd, FI and I finally decided to get our rings. We got it for a very affordable price! Ever since we started planning for the wedding, we didn't want to buy a very expensive piece of jewelry. (Living in a third world country with expensive pieces mean - DANGER).

I can't post the pictures just yet but these stock images almost look like our rings:

Let me just share this cute picture. Hope this can brighten your day despite the gloomy weather! (that's if you're from this part of the world) x

Our Story in Pictures (Part 1)

Year 2000..

She was studying in Legazpi and was in a relationship

He lives in Naga and was also in a relationship at that time

She got her number from SMART's promo and texted him..

.. he replied

They changed their mobile phones and numbers through the years (7 years).. Kept their friendship but  remained anonymous for they haven't met despite the fact that they just lived 45 minutes away from each other..

On the 7th year of their friendship. Both were already working in Manila when they finally decided to meet..

No Attraction..

There was only friendship..

Days passed.. They would go out as friends..

They held hands for the first time and felt the spark

Feelings blossomed..

..they became a couple
